I adjusted the speed in Audition and exported a shortened audio file and imported that back into Premiere to mate up with the speed adjusted video and exported the whole thing as a single clip that I can work with in After Effects to finish this damn project.Īdobe- please note you wasted almost 2 hours of my day today.

Audition does a better job so I would have done this anyway after the chipmunk sounds from earlier. So in the end I had to unlink the audio and video and export the audio on its own because Premiere was unable to send the audio to Audition.

So this seems to be the source of the issue.
